Installation and testing of equipment takes approximately 2 weeks. After this period, visits to the site are reduced considerably and can be by appointment with the owner if necessary. All installation work is carried out to the highest standards and disruption to site provider is kept to an absolute minimum. The operation of the telecom equipment does not interfere with any other equipment or electrical appliances on the property.

Recent years have seen increased awareness and concerns surrounding telecommunications equipment and in particular masts. This has been due to the rapid growth in mobile phones and all too often poor site selection by telecommunications companies. Kiolpa can provide you with Government approved reports that conclude there is absolutely no risk associated with this equipment. Kiolpa are also happy to meet any concerned individuals and provide relevant information that will address all concerns raised.

Planning Permission and Lease

The installation design will determine if planning permission is required. Lease terms can be agreed in advance or during the planning process. Substantial rents are being paid for suitable properties throughout Ireland. Lease terms can be short or long term with break clauses for justifiable reasons on both sides.
